Digital Imaging
Our office is equipped with low-radiation cone beam CT scan technology that is specifically designed for dental use. The CT scan is linked to dental implant digital planning software, thereby allowing clinicians to do many things including: assess the health of bony structures around the jaw bone area, detect infection in the jawbone or sinus area, visualize the location of vital structures such as nerves or major arteries, and evaluate the amount of jaw bone available for dental implants.
Laser Therapy
Dr. Mack Coker and Dr. Daniel Ho proudly use state-of-the-art lasers to perform a number of procedures. Lasers can kill bacteria with minimal impact to the surrounding gum tissues. Lasers can effectively treat periodontal disease and herpetic ulcers. Additionally, lasers can be used to remove small amounts of tissue to improve the appearance of a gummy smile. Laser treatment is even suitable for patients on blood thinners, because laser surgery can seal blood vessels during the procedure.
